Homeowners and residents should not be receiving visitors under the current stay at home policy. In the interests of everyone in your building or on your estate, we would ask that you adhere to this guidance.
Government advice to home buyers and renters (both long term and short term) is that whenever possible you should delay moving to a new house while measures are in place to fight coronavirus (COVID-19). The full advice can be found on https://www.gov.uk/guidance/government-advice-on-home-moving-during-the-coronavirus-covid-19-outbreak.
Second Homes & Holiday Homes
If you own a second home in a building or on an estate we manage, please respect the advice to stay at home. The Government have advised that “Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar, whether for isolation purposes or holidays and that people should remain in their primary residence.
Many Local Authorities have established dedicated investigation and enforcement teams to ensure that people are not travelling needlessly. If you have a particular concern, please check with your Local Authority to enquire what course of action you should take. Do bear in mind, however, that many second homes have generously been provided for the use of the NHS and key workers, therefore vacant properties may now be occupied for this purpose.
