Advice for Residents

COVID-19 has been in the UK for some time and with the severity of the virus reducing, we look forward to cautiously returning to normal on the back of the latest UK Governments’ advice.

In February 2022, the Government in England set out a phased plan for living with COVID-19. We have carefully reviewed the guidance from the UK Governments and industry bodies, and we are responding to this in the way we manage our residents’ homes.

Our current management approach is:

  • All permanent site staff and visiting site staff are working on/visiting developments and taking sensible precautions to stop the virus spreading.
  • All communal maintenance activity – i.e., cleaning, gardening, grounds maintenance and window cleaning – is happening as it did before government restrictions were introduced.
  • All major works projects have resumed.

We’re make sure our employees and contractors remain vigilant to help to reduce the spread of the virus by taking sensible precautions, such as wearing a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces, especially where they come into contact with people they do not usually meet.

Our employees are aware that they should not come to work if they test positive for Covid-19. They will continue to be available as usual during working hours even if they are not on site.

The pandemic changed many of the ways we interact with our residents, such as the implementation of virtual meetings in place of face-to-face meetings. Many of our residents have fed back to us this change is more convenient, so we’ll continue to offer this option, alongside face-to-face meetings.

We’d like to thank all our customers for their understanding throughout the pandemic and we look forward to returning to normal ways of working.
